2015 Epilepsy Scholarship Program
The Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey is now accepting applications for our annual scholarship program for New Jersey high school seniors who have epilepsy. We anticipate offering at least three $1,000 scholarships this year.
New Jersey high school seniors with epilepsy who plan to attend a college or university are eligible. Academic achievement, participation in activities and financial need will be considered. The extent of a student’s disability(s) will be taken into account as well, so that s/he need not be near the top of her/his class to qualify. Final awards will be made by the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey, which reserves the right not to make any awards.
Scholarship Applications and supporting documents are due by May 1, 2015. Should you have any questions, please contact Andrea Racioppi at (800)336-5843 or by email.

Super NOVA is a weekend adventure (May 1-3, 2015) for adults 29 years of age and up with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Super NOVA was specifically developed when the Epilepsy Foundation of NJ saw that so many of the Camp NOVA individuals were aging out with no similar alternative.
The purpose of Super NOVA is to:
- Support individuals outside of their home
- Assist in educational, enrichment and/or recreational activities
- Promote inclusion through some community outings
- Provide respite for the individual and the caregiver
The staff ratio for this program is 3:1 and is not appropriate for individuals with high level of need or supports. Each person’s application will be reviewed by Super NOVA Senior staff for compatibility to this service.
